image is wrong. see 27.10 for the correct image.
see my calculation in 27.12 with more than n-shapes. Here we can use the formula with multiple shapes: n1 would be a 2×2 square (lower left), n2 = 2×2 square upper right and 3 times a square with the area = 1 (upper left)… the n1-coordinates are X1 = 2 , Y1= 2, n2: X2 = 4 , Y2 = 4 and the “small squares” n3 : X3 = 1,5 , Y3 = 3,5 and so on.
n Yn An An*Yn n Xn An An*Yn
1 2 4 8 1 2 4 8
3 4 4 16 3 4 4 16
4 3,5 1 3,5 4 1,5 1 1,5
5 3,5 1 3,5 5 2,5 1 2,5
6 4,5 1 4,5 6 2,5 1 2,5
11 35,5 11 30,5
Yn =3,22…. Xn = 2,77….
use 3,25 and 2,75 for construction … t
